27/05/2010: Embassy of the Philippines to Conduct Consular Outreach in Wheeling, West Virginia
The Embassy of the Philippines in Washington, D.C., in partnership with Rev. Michael O. Lecias of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia, will conduct its first consular outreach program in Wheeling, West Virginia on Friday, 4 June 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the St. Alphonsus Parish Hall, 2111 Market Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
The consular team will accept and process applications for machine-readable passport, dual citizenship, notarization and registration of birth and marriage. The occasion will also serve as a venue for an oath-taking ceremony for individuals who will reacquire their Filipino citizenship under the Dual Citizenship Law.
The consular outreach program is part of the Embassy's continuing efforts to deliver various consular services at the convenience of Filipinos in its consular jurisdiction.
