13/10/2011: Ambassador Cuisia Calls on Grenada Ambassador Gillian M.S. Bristol

13 October 2011, Washington, DC. Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. paid a courtesy call on Amb. Gillian M.S. Bristol of Grenada to the U.S. Ambassador Cuisia is also concurrently accredited as ambassador to Grenada.
The two diplomats discussed opportunities to strengthen relations between the Philippines and Grenada. Ambassador Cuisia also welcomed the assistance offered by Ambassador Bristol, who served for 15 years at the Organization of American States Secretariat, in broadening the Philippines’ engagement with the hemispheric group.
Ambassador Bristol committed to convey to the government of Grenada the Philippines’ request for support for the candidature of Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago to the International Criminal Court. END
