NORTH CAROLINA CONSULAR OUTREACH. Members of the Filipino-American Community in Havelock, North Carolina, are attended to by a consular team from the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C., which conducted its 11th outreach mission there on 15 September 2012. The team, headed by Consul Arlene Magno, processed passport renewals, reports of marriage, dual citizenship applications and overseas absentee voting registrations of 118 individuals. The team also administered the oath of allegiance to three former Filipinos who reacquired Philippine citizenship under Republic Act 9225 and collected letters of support for the Save Our Industries Act.
