07/11/2013: Forum - Public Health in the Philippines: Progress and Challenges
The Center for Strategic & International Studies in cooperation with the US-Philippines Society, Embassy of the Philippines, and The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs will be hosting a forum entitled "Public Health in the Philippines: Progress and Challenges."
The conference will present an overview of the status of public health in the Philippines, the challenges of reproductive health, and will explore strategies in which the private sector, local leadership, and policy makers can respond. A keynote address will be delivered by Enrique T. Ona, Secretary of the Department of Health in the Philippines. The forum will be followed by a reception at the Romulo Hall, Embassy of the Philippines.
