28/01/2010: Ambassador Gaa Engages in a Partnership Talk with US Census Bureau Regional Director Armstrong
28 JANUARY 2010 WASHINGTON DC – Philippine Ambassador to the United States Willy C. Gaa assured Mr. Fernando Armstrong, US Census Bureau Regional Director for Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey, of the Embassy’s support and cooperation in encouraging the Filipino community in the United States to take part in the 2010 US Census during a partnership meeting held today at the Ambassador’s Office. The US Census is a count of everyone residing in the United States accomplished every ten years. Data gathered from the census serves as a basis for the allocation of federal, state and local funding for vital community and social programs and services.
