02/09/2014: White House Executive Chef Cris Comerford and Philanthropist Loida Nicolas Lewis lead International Delegation to 11th Filipina Leadership Global Summit
White House Executive Chef Cris Comerford and Philanthropist Loida Nicolas Lewis will lead an international delegation of Filipina women leaders, influencers, thinkers, andthe to-be inducted 2014 awardees to the Global FWN100™ Honor Roll representing 14 countries for a three-day, must-attend, learning journeys, workshops, "kwentuhan" and private meetings to ignite cooperation through public and private business partnerships to the 11th Filipina Leadership Global Summit on October 5-8, 2014 at the Makati Shangri-La in the Philippines.
The high-powered gathering is a vital part of FWN's Pinay Power 2020 Mission: A Filipina leader in every sector of the economy. The summit will convene sessions and learning journeys that will reflect on the changes that sparked transformations in the lives of global Filipinas in the last 10 years, and the disruptive strategies and unexpected solutions that influenced careers and businesses.
Co-convening the FWN Filipina Global Summit is the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) with the Office of the President of the Philippines, headed by Secretary Imelda M. Nicolas.
Awardees and delegates attending represent 16 economic sectors and are coming from Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Denmark, France, Jordan, China, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, the United States of America and a distinguished group from the Philippines.
