01/10/2010: CSIS Invites Entries for Final Category of Southeast Asia Photo Contest Series
01 OCTOBER 2010, WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is inviting entries for the third and final category of the Southeast Asia Program (SEAP) Photo Contest series.
With the theme, “The Challenge Ahead,” the contest aims to recognize policy challenges faced by policymakers and government leaders through images captured in Southeast Asia. The photos should try to capture what needs to be addressed in society and be a reflection of the efforts of the leaders of ASEAN and President Barack Obama who met in New York last September 24 for the 2nd ASEAN Leaders Meeting.
Photo submissions are open until 22 October 2010, 5:00 pm (EST). CSIS will choose and post the top five photos on the Facebook Fan Page of CSIS SEAP on a weekly basis where members can vote by “liking” the posted pictures. The top three “liked” photos will then enter the final round, which will run from 23 – 29 October 2010. The entry with the most “likes” by 29 October, 5:00 pm (EST), wins in the category.
