Embassy Continues Staff Development Program with Table Napkin Folding Session

25 JUNE 2009 WASHINGTON, D.C. – Mrs. Rowena Penaranda (left), wife of Minister and Consul Ariel Penaranda, demonstrates the Peacock style of napkin folding to Minister and Consul Andrelita Austria (right), while First Secretary and Consul Arlene Magno (third from right) and the Embassy staff work on theirs.  Beginning with a brief history on the art of napkin folding, Mrs. Penaranda demonstrated eight different styles of napkin folding.  The Table Napkin Folding Session is part of the continuing efforts of the Embassy to harness the potentials of its employees.  The Staff Development Program began in April of this year.
