14/05/2009: Saudi Prince Abdulaziz Bin Talal Al Saud Calls on Ambassador Gaa; Reaffirms KSA Investments to RP in the IT and Agriculture Sectors
14 May 2009 – His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz Bin Talal al Saud (3rd from R) called on Ambassador Willy C. Gaa (3rd from L) to reaffirm key investments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Information Technology (IT) and agriculture sectors. The Saudi Prince recently tied up with Mandaluyong City-based Transpacific Broadband Group International, Inc. (TBGI) to form Arab-Asia Holdings Corporation, a holding company that would serve as the Prince’s investment vehicle in Asia.
During the meeting, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Talal said that “we will do a lot of projects in the Philippines which are of common interest” to both countries. The Saudi Prince was joined by his Advisor and Executive Assistant Dau Songpanya (2nd from R). The Embassy’s Commercial Counselor Romulo Manlapig, Assistant Agriculture Attaché Josyline Javelosa and Economic Officer Angelito Nayan also joined the meeting. END.
