14/04/2009: Philippine Embassy Conducts Consular Outreach Program in Tampa, Florida
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On 3-5 April 2009, a team headed by Consul General Domingo Nolasco conducted a consular outreach program during the 14th Annual Philippine Festival organized by the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, Florida to administer various consular services.
During the event, 224 Filipinos applied for machine-readable passports while 216 registered for Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV); 105 Naturalized Americans reacquired their Philippine citizenship; and 50 submissions were received for Registration of Birth/Marriage, Travel Documents and Notarials.
Accompanying Consul General Domingo Nolasco on the outreach program were Finance Officer Lyrie Fulgencio and Consular Assistants Silverio Manguerra, Janet Falsis and Joey Macatula. END.
